Community Partners

Our Community Partners are a valuable resource to us and to those we serve!

In partnership, we can more easily connect with families who want doula services but may not be able to afford them.

We provide our community partners with free informational handouts in 13 languages, a dedicated referral form, and a community partners’ guide to assist clients in registering for doula services.

Our partners include:

  • Social Service Organizations

  • Women & Children’s Healthcare Providers

  • Hospitals & Clinics

  • Adoption Services

  • Government Agencies

  • State Assistance Programs

  • Religious Organizations

Partners can make service referrals on behalf of their clients.

Please read our Community Partners Guide so you will know what services we provide and which services are appropriate for your clients.

When completing the referral form on behalf of your client, please be sure to complete all of the information.

Once we receive the referral, we will contact the client directly to schedule an intake interview with a translator (if necessary).

Please be sure your client understands the services we offer and wants these service before you make the referral.

Birth Doula Support includes:

  • 2 prenatal visits in client’s location

  • Availability by text/phone

  • On-call from 38 weeks until birth

  • Continuous labor support

  • Immediate postpartum support

  • Postpartum follow-up visit (for birth only clients)

Postpartum Doula Support Includes:

  • 1 prenatal visit (for postpartum only clients)

  • 6 postpartum visits (maximum), up to 4 hours each in client’s location

  • Availability by text/phone

Community Doulas operates through community donations, client contributions, and private grants. We do not directly receive government funding. 
Our doulas are volunteers that receive a small stipend when they support clients. Your clients will be asked for financial information to determine a comfortable contribution to our program.

We provide printed material in 13 languages to help prospective parents understand the services offered by doulas and how they can access these services
