Volunteer with us

Join Our Team!

Our doulas and mentors are 100% volunteer-based. We provide a small stipend to help cover expenses, and we specifically partner with new doulas and doulas-in-training — supporting you as you establish your business and serve your community.

Interested in helping out but not in becoming a doula yourself? We need you too.

We are dedicated to growing the doula community and are ready to match doulas with families.

We know how intimidating it can be for a newly trained doula to step into the birth world with little to no experience. To guide you through this process, we provide mentorship, continuing education, and hands-on guidance for prenatal, birth, and postpartum visits.

Your experienced mentor will be there to discuss prenatal visits, offer support during the birth itself, and help with postpartum care — answering questions along the way. They'll model best practices, help you dig into research and evidence-based information, and offer hands-on help whenever you need it.

Two women with brown hair, one with a ponytail, are seated on the floor. The woman in the striped shirt is leaning over the other woman, who is wearing a teal shirt and seems to be injured or unwell. The scene appears to be indoors, in a room with dark walls and wooden flooring.

Community Doulas and your mentor will support you through the completion of your doula training program. During this phase, we can help with business development, client relations, forms, and marketing, as well as offer networking opportunities and client referrals.

After you’ve established your doula business and have gained more experience, we may invite you to volunteer as a mentor to help other doulas in your area, and we hope you’ll partner with us

Holding my brand new baby brings thoughts of gratefulness. I am so thankful to hold a healthy baby boy and so thankful for the wonderful, powerful women (and my incredible husband!!) who accompanied me on my journey to complete the most important accomplishment in my life, VBA2C [vaginal birth after 2 cesareans]!!
